Short-Term
Intensive Treatment Program
Many patients seeking treatment
today are productive members of the community - but are finding
their addiction to substances quickly becoming out of control.
They have a treatment episode or experience with sobriety in
their history, or in that of a family member. An understanding
of the addiction and recovery process is present. They come from
supportive homes to which they can return upon discharge.
Roxbury offers the Short-Term Intensive Treatment Program, a ten
to fourteen day intensive treatment experience, specifically for this patient profile.
The focus of the program is on the immediate and critical work
to be done now. This program is designed for the patient who needs to regain
control of his/her life before losing all that is important to
the disease of addiction. With the level of resources and
support available, some understanding of the change process, and
desire to work for recovery, the patient benefits greatly from
our individually tailored and structured program.
