Roxbury is pleased to announce the use of Vivitrol on our inpatient chemical dependency unit. Vivitrol is a once a month injection for relapse prevention of alcohol and opiates that is non-addictive and has no mood or mind altering effects

Roxbury Treatment Center is very excited to announce that we now offer an additional treatment option currently available to address the specific needs of service members suffering from Posttraumatic Stress. This new extended stay track is an addition to our current 28-day Co-occurring Disorder substance abuse program and was designed to accommodate service members who have been affected by combat trauma.

Located in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, Roxbury is an inpatient detoxification, rehabilitation, and inpatient acute psychiatric facility for adults specializing in Co-Occurring disorder treatment.

Roxbury also offers outpatient substance abuse treatment for adults and adolescents with offices located in Chambersburg and Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

All of Roxbury's inpatient programs are fully licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Programs, and the Pennsylvania Office of Mental Health. Additionally, Roxbury is fully accredited by the Joint Commission.

Our medical team is composed of board certified psychiatrists, registered nurses and physician assistants who provide close medical monitoring and the highest quality of care to our patients.

Our clinical team is composed of master’s level therapists, social workers, and substance abuse counselors to ensure superior care and support for each member of the Roxbury community.
