What is the length of stay?
  •   Acute Psychiatric Unit, 5-15 days.
  •   Inpatient Chemical Dependency, 14-28 days.
  •   Chemical Dependency for Active Duty Military, 28 days.
  •   Outpatient Programming, 15-20 sessions.
Length of stay is based on each patients individuals needs, therefore, some patients may stay fewer or more days than indicated.
What is required for me to bring to treatment?
3-4 days worth of clothing, nothing tight, revealing, sleeveless, or inappropriate; personal hygiene items, prescription medications, cigarettes, insurance cards, Photo ID, SS card, personal pillow and blanket (if preferred), reading material must be recovery based. Phone cards, stamps, NA, AA big books are sold here.
What items are not permitted to bring to treatment?
Lighters, matches, pagers, beepers, cell phones, car keys, books, magazines, metal hangers, pocket knives, scissors, sharp implements, glass bottle items, perfume, oils, cologne, nail polish and remover, radios, plastic bags, lap tops, weapons, illegal drugs, candy, rolling papers, electrical equipment. You and your belongings will be searched prior to admission.
What is the visitation and phone policy?
Visiting hours vary by program; however, messages can be left for family members and friends 24 hours a day. For specific visiting hours, please call Roxbury at 1-800-648-4673.
Describe the programming while in treatment
We offer a highly structured program involving psycho educational lectures, group therapy sessions, individual counseling, family sessions as needed, and NA/AA meetings.
What is the nursing/doctor coverage?
There is 24 hour nursing care as well as 24 hour-a-day physician coverage on all units.
Can referrals be made any time of day?
Referrals can be made any time of day by calling 1-800-648-4673 and speaking to our admissions department.
Is transportation provided?
Transportation is generally provided within a 50-mile radius of the facility. Please contact our admissions department at 1-800-648-4673 for availability.
