Admissions Information

How do I Start?

Roxbury provides a full continuum of Substance Abuse, Psychiatric, and Co-Occurring Disorder treatment services. Depending on which program is needed, our admissions process varies.  For our Psychiatric Hospital, most admissions occur after a professional referral is made by a crisis worker, social worker, or other clinician. For our Treatment Center, patients can self-refer to our inpatient substance use program or a referral can be made by any professional working with the patient. If you are in need of Outpatient Services you can call each location direct to schedule an appointment.

I Don’t Have Insurance, Now What?

For inpatient substance use treatment, all counties in PA provide funding for patients needing inpatient detox and rehab but are subject to each counties process.  Depending on which county you reside, our admissions staff can provide you with that information or number to contact.

For inpatient psychiatric treatment, some counties provide funding for patients who do not have insurance. In this circumstance, please present to your closest emergency room for a psychiatric evaluation and referral. An emergency department staff member will be able to walk you thought this process.
