Intensive Outpatient Programming…
The IOP for adults is designed as an early recovery and relapse prevention group. IOP groups are open ended,
meaning that participants may begin the group at any point and leave the group upon completion of their individualized
treatment objectives. Each IOP group session lasts 2 ˝ hours and group members are expected to attend 3 sessions per week.
Treatment typically lasts a minimum of six weeks during which time group members are expected to attend 12-step fellowship meetings
and develop ancillary sober supports. An integrated treatment approach for co-occurring disorders is utilized consisting of
monitoring dual issues and making referrals for concurrent mental health needs. Individual sessions at set intervals with the
therapist throughout the program are a vital element in the treatment process.

Outpatient Programming…
Separate programming exists for both Adults and Adolescents. The OP group is primarily for persons demonstrating higher levels
of stability and supports and offers a continuum of treatment for those completing the intensive outpatient phase of treatment.
It is also appropriate for individuals who would benefit from increased knowledge regarding addiction as well as support and
encouragement to get back on track, but who do not require the intensity of IOP programming. Weekly 90-minute group counseling aims
at helping participants achieve and maintain sobriety and develop healthier patterns of behavior. Length of stay is determined by an
individual’s problems and progress in treatment. A standard treatment episode consists of 8 weeks and ongoing monitoring of progress
including random drug screening and completion of treatment plan objectives is required for successful discharge from the program.
Throughout the course of treatment, should the necessity for a higher level of care be demonstrated, a referral will be facilitated.
